The last few months really messed me up. I was ashamed and felt tremendous guilt.
Life can throw curveballs when we least expect it. ⚾
As entrepreneurs and business leaders, we're often conditioned to push ourselves to the limit and focus solely on our work, even when times get tough.
But what happens when something unexpected comes along and requires us to shift our priorities?
That's exactly what happened to me recently.
I had to take a step back from my work and focus on supporting my family through a difficult time. Initially, I felt guilty and ashamed that I couldn't keep up with my work responsibilities. 🤦♂️
Thanks to my amazing support system, as I shifted my focus to what truly mattered - my family's well-being and my own self-care -
I realized that this was actually the MOST important work I could be doing right now. 💡
Sometimes, taking care of ourselves and our loved ones is not a distraction from our work - IT IS our work.
By prioritizing what truly matters, we can build a stronger 💪foundation for our businesses in the long run.
So today, I invite you to take a step back and reassess your priorities. ✔
❓Are you putting the right time and energy into the things or people that truly matter to you?
❓Have you ever had to shift your priorities unexpectedly, and if so, how did it work out for you?
Share your experiences in the comments - I'd love to hear from you.
